  1. katherine jarvis beauty maven posh poise polish halloween 7Start with a full face of foundation, and fill in brows to your liking.  Take a piece of scotch tape and line the edge to extend the corner of your eyes on each side.
  2. Take a tapered blending brush and black eye shadow and blend the shadow from the edge of the tape, down to the sides of your nose bridge. Make sure to keep the shadow right under your brow bone to keep a crisp look.katherine jarvis beauty maven posh poise polish halloween 8
  3. Next, take a gold eye shadow and use a flat shading brush and pat the shadow just on the lid. This will create a cut crease look between the black and gold shadows.  Remove tape.  There should be a nice sharp edge*This can also work for Cleopatra looks.
  4. Now, take your contour brush and a darker eye shadow or foundation shade. Blend this shade right along your cheekbones, and lightly blend down toward your lips.
  5. Use black eyeliner to line your lips. Apply your favorite red lipstick, and blend into the black liner.
  6. Finally, the blood! I found a Vampire kit for $3.75 at Wal-Mart, which came with teeth, face paint
and fake blood. I didn’t care for the teeth, but I used the blood and dripped it down the corners of my mouth to my chin! Look complete!

  2. Using a brow pencil, fill in your brows according to your natural shape. Connect the start of your brows to a line on each side of your nose down to the tip.
  3. Use the black eyeliner and fill in the tip of the nose following the natural shape of your nostrils.
  4. To create a winged look, take your eyeliner and draw a straight line angled toward the end of your brows. From the end of that line, use the liner to create a second line going toward the inner Screen shot 2014-10-29 at 3.08.16 PMcorner of your eye, and fill in that space. This takes practice and again, it can help if you pull the skin near the temples to create a flat surface.
  5. Take the contour brush, and dark contour shade, and blend along you cheekbones, and up to your temples.
  6. With a steady hand, use your black eyeliner and draw a straight ½ inch line from the inner corner of your eye toward your nose. At the end of that line, draw another slightly waved line going up, then a subtle drop, then bring it back up.
  7. Finally, take your white eyeliner and make medium-sized filled circles along your cheekbones.  Add mascara, and you’re done!
